• I'm pleased to hear that, John. Welcome to the group! The total cost of the 7 games is $854. Given that distance precludes a personal meeting, I think the best way to proceed is for you to mail me a cashier's check for 60 percent of that amount. I can then send by certified mail the tickets to an address of your choice. Once you receive the tickets, you can then send me the rest of the balance. I want to make sure that we are both completely comfortable with this process so if you have any concerns, let me know and we will adjust accordingly. John

• Hi John, My apologies for the confusion and the delayed response. I am still sorting out everyone's respective schedules. As of right now, I can give you April 10-11, April 21, July 14, July 28, August 20-21. I will not have the actual physical tickets in my possession for several more weeks. The Cardinals usually send them around the second week of March. Payment would be due within a week of whenever you accept and join the group. Thanks for the interest, John. It is especially helpful that you have requested specific games. Anyway here is a copy of that Jan 9 message: "I have not yet made the schedule for our ticket group so all of those games are available as of right now. Since you have requested specific dates, there is an excellent chance that I can accommodate you on most of these. I would just have to balance your requests with the possibility that other partners in our group, including me, might still want the same games. As of now, though, I do not believe that anyone has requested these dates you have listed."

• Hi Tom, In a general sense, playoff and World Series games are allocated by seniority and investment in the group. In other words, the partners who have been in the group longest and who buy the most games have general priority. As the owner of the seats, I have first choice. However, in practice, the allocation of postseason games very often comes down to whomever happens to be available. For instance, during the NLDS and NLCS, games are frequently played during week days. Not everyone is available to go. I often work on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, so I'm out for those games. Basically, I try to make sure that everyone in the group has an opportunity to experience postseason games, if they want to. If you have any other questions, let me know. My best wishes to you. John

  i had e mailed you previously about being out of town and wanting a night game followed by a day game. tickets I would be interested in would be apr10 & 11 may21 & 22 july 14 and july28(both sunday games)aug 20&21 and sept 15. obviously I couldn't take all of those but was wondering what might be available and how to proceed? thanks john

  How are you looking ticket wise? I was looking at buying to 2 tickets for up to 20 games for some of my employees, it looks to me like you do not have anything like that left, am I correct?

  Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it. My wife and I are in. Your ad appears to indicate you want between 5-15 games. I want to talk to her one more time (you have to have the wife's buy-in!) but I believe we will do 10-15 games, and we would be partners for some time so long as you would have us. If there was a way I could know what games were available it would help, but it's not necessary obviously. I will talk to her one more time and make our offer. Thanks so much!

• Hi Rich, Thanks for the request. I am happy to accept it and welcome you to the group. The seats are indeed covered and, needless to say, we really like that. In fact, when we chose them as Ballpark Founders we requested covered seats. If you want your games spaced out over the course of the season, that's fine. That actually tends to work best in melding your scheduling requests with other people in the group. I think there are a few more games available if you want more, though at the moment I'm not certain of the specific number. John

• Dave, Thanks for the inquiry. I do indeed have 10 games available and they will go to the first person who indicates an interest in joining our group, so they are yours if you want them. Regarding post season, I generally get first dibs because I own the seats (having paid the PSL as a Ballpark Founder). However, I try to include group members and make the seats available for the playoffs as much as possible. Like the group itself, it's based on balance and mutual respect.   Love the Home Redbird Club! Just started working again so would probably only be looking for 2 tickets to 5 different games, but could be more if my sister's schedule permits (I owe her for previous games). Would I be able to purchase such low numbers of tickets? And if so, would I have any input into which games they would be for?

• Thanks for the inquiry. 5 different games would be no problem at all. I do have more available if you want them. You would indeed have input into which games you get. In our group each person tells me his/her no-go dates and desired games. I then prepare a schedule designed to accommodate everyone's requests and schedule, at least as much as possible. On average, group members get over 90 percent of their requests. I own the seats (having paid the PSL as a Ballpark Founder) so I get first dibs on scheduling and playoffs, but that is generally a negligible factor since I don't go to anywhere near a majority of games. And I tried following your instructions for how tickets are assigned, but that seemed to presuppose that participants have equal number of games. What if I only wanted ... five games. Or 10. Is that possible? Also, this system is new to me, so I bid on the number of games? • Hi Nicholas, Thanks for your interest. It is good to hear from you and it would certainly be great to have you in our group. My group does not require everyone to have an equal number of games. In general, each person decides how many he/she wants within the parameters of how many are available. Some people get 5 or 6. Some get 10-12 or even more. A few just get a couple games. It varies. There is no bidding and no draft. Although I own the seats (from paying the PSL as a Ballpark Founder), I assign the games to members of the group based on their personal schedules and their requests. I would estimate that, in a typical season, each person gets about 90-95 percent of what he/she wants. Right now I have between 15 and 20 games available so you are free to request as many games as you'd like within that numerical limit. As I mentioned, it would be terrific to have a great Cardinal fan like you in our group. All best wishes, Nicholas. John
