How will my games get determined?

For this listing, you would offer to purchase a certain number of games and tickets from the Season Ticket Holder. The actual games and tickets you would get would be determined at a later date using the the following method:

Online Draft
New partner will participate in Online Draft. Draft will be held at a time and date agreeable to the majority of partners. Draft picks will be based on the number of games each partner is purchasing. Draft Order will be set fairly giving all partners a pick in the first round and the remaining picks will be fairly determined based on the proportion of games owned by each partner. The Draft Order shall NOT unfairly benefit or harm any partner(s). All games and tickets shall be included in the draft.

That makes sense to me. So if I make an offer to purchase 1/8 of the season tickets, what should my offer be?
  • $932

That makes sense. So if I bought 10 games I would get one ball in the postseason drawing. I also like that you guys talk things out for assigning tickets. And that you have tickets next to you that could be a possible group of 4. So 13 games have been assigned? Also if I make an offer do I have to figure $72 per ticket even some games may be less
  • No, that number came from the Cardinal's instructions. We charge what the dynamic ticket price is for each game. Tickets are $32, $41, $60, $72 and there are 2 games that are $115. I think we try to be fair. The reason I didn't say 10 games is because a person that chooses games with only $32 tickets is not paying 1/8 of the cost.

I am looking to get into an agreement for 10-12 games. Is this still available? Also, I do not understand the explanation on postseason tickets
  • Yes, we'd love to have you join us. As far ar postseason, there are usually a maximum of 2 or 3 division games, 3 or 4 championship games, and 3 or 4 WS games. At the beginning of the post season, for every 1/8 of the season someone owns, they get their name thrown into a hat. As the names are drawn, each picks from whatever games are left. We have one guy that wants the last possible WS game (to see a potential clinch) and another that wants the very first division game (to make sure he sees at least one game. Does that make more sense?

Will all the games be in your draft? Or is the draft only for the remaining games open to new partners? Will you be allowing any access to post-season tickets? Thank you.
  • Most tickets are still open for new partners as we have only distributed 13 games so far. We don't hold a strict draft as we have found we can apply common sense and everyone gets almost every game they want. Opening game is the only one that is not open for discussion. As far as post-season rights, we generally view that there are 8 possibilities so 1/8th ownership puts one ball in the bowl. We then draw for selection based on that ownership percentage. Another note: we have been able to collaborate with adjacent season ticket holders to come up with 4 and sometimes 6 tickets for a particular game.
